• * Only 534 out of 871 in Mwanza turned up for further investigations, and only 308 out of 534 completed investigations. Thus reported about 5% of 534 women who turned up had breast cancer
• ** Only 272 (53%) women out 513 women in Mbeya with breast lesions managed to return for further management. Thus of these 272 women who returned for further management, about 10% of them were found with breast cancer!
• *** Out of 46 women found with breast cancer in DSM, only 23 agreed to the prescribed management, the rest resorted to other means including traditional medicine and religious/spiritual support.
